Pee Wee Football Info PLEASE!!!
Hello. My family and I will move to Guam in early Sep. My son is 11 and had played football for 6 years. He is devastated that he will not play this year. I saw the pictures of the pee wee football team on this site but I could not find information on registration or dates. If anyone could help me I would be very grateful.

Youth football

I don't know if it's played on base as well. I suspect that would lean more toward soccer but I'll see what I can find out.

Thank you sooooooooo MUCH!!!! This is very helpful. It sounds like it is part of the Pop Warner Football League. We have been associated with this league for 6 years and have been very pleased. There was a contact number for Steve Phillips to register. I hope we can get our son on a team. Thanks again!

On base, there is a youth sports website at http://www.mwrguam.com/company_detail.php?keyword=000258956. That's on the Navy base. While they don't seem to offer football (except flag), they do have other things that are pretty interesting.
Andersen AFB has their info at http://36thservices.com/youth.htm. Both are easily reachable from anywhere on the island.
Finally, my other sports suggestion - if you haven't already, learn to dive. Guam is world class. Navy works closely with Marianas Diving Authority (MDA) to offer low-cost certification. It's a great place to experience it.

We lived in Guam 8 years ago and waited until the last few months we were there to get certified. This time we will do it right away. I didn't complete my paper work so I guess I will have to start all over. I think MDA is where we got our certification the last time, it was a great experience.
